You can use a block for a single character to change its font, size or color. Imagine your name that uses the colors of? Rainbow. Or that each character is smaller than its previous. Do l? Test!
Before continuing the exercises, make sure that the Drawing toolbar is available.

If this toolbar is not available:
From the View menu, select Toolbars.
From the list of available toolbars, select Drawing.
The toolbar above will appear and you can make the following exercises.
Add free text
You can also add text wherever you want on the slide. You can write to the outside of the two boxes on the slide.
From the Drawing toolbar, click the button.
The button should be pressed and become pale.
Move the pointer on the map of the slide.
Not above other text boxes on the slide. Otherwise PowerPoint lets you change the contents of an existing text box, no create a new text box.
Click where you want to write the text.
Write the text of your choice.
You can then use the Back button to change the font, size or color.
Rotation free
In the same toolbar, you’ll find the button above. It lets you change the angle of presentation of the text boxes. The next exercise is to change the angle of the text you write.
Select the text you d? Write by clicking on this text.
A border should appear around the text.
Then click the button free rotation above.
The edge of the object text has changed. There are only four circles at the ends of the border.
Move the pointer on? One of these circles.
Keeping a finger on the left mouse button, move the cursor left, right, up and down.
You will notice that the text turns on itself.
Do not release the left mouse button up to what you’re happy with the corner of your text.
Try again and experiment a little.

Add an ellipse
On the same toolbar that you found the pointer, the free text and free rotation, you will find the button above.
Click on the button.
Move the pointer on the map of the slide.
Click the starting point of l? Ellipse and keep a finger on the left mouse button.
Move the mouse diagonally to the right and down.
You will see that the form? Ellipse will be after you release the left mouse button. More pressing the SHIFT key (shift), you will see that? Ellipse becomes a perfect circle. The same situation happens to the button of the rectangle becomes a square.
Choose colors
You can also change the background color or the color of any object drawn. The next exercise is to change the background color of? Ellipse. This option works only with objects drawn. It will not work with text. Please see the option to change the color of the text mentioned above.
Click the ellipse to select it.
The edge of the object and the square should appear. Otherwise, click the ellipsis.

This window allows you to change the presentation of the object you have selected. You can change the angle of the shade, color, choose from 4 alternatives and determine the level of clarity in the shade. You can also press the Preview button to give you an idea of the effect on your slide.

Click the Texture tab.
This window allows you to choose from predefined textures and paste it on the design you have chosen. It is even possible to get other textures and added to the list by pressing the button Other texture.
Click the Patterns tab.
This window allows you to paste on the grounds of the drawings. It was just what was available in previous versions of the program.
Click the Picture tab.
This window allows you to paste an image inside of a drawing that you have chosen before. It is also possible to pick an image and then paste.
Change the size of the ellipse
The next exercise is to enlarge the ellipse to fill the slide completely. It is normal that it hides the text and other objects on the slide. The following exercise will solve this problem.
Select the ellipse.
Squares will appear around it.
Place the pointer on one of these squares.
Keeping a finger on the button, move the square to the edge of the slide.
Repeat this process until the ellipse is as large as possible.
Set the ellipse in the background.
THE ellipse must be large enough to hide the text you’ve written before. Each of the items you add to a slide is on his personal background layer. Each item you add is deposited on top of those you have previously made. This capability allows you to superimpose objects for a better presentation.
